services to our customers. The following are examples
of the many services we offer.
Refrigerated Storage
Modern racked storage facilities keep products anywhere
from -20 to +55 degrees Fahrenheit. Enclosed refrigerated
shipping and receiving docks to maintain temperatures
and protect the product.
Order
Selection
Order assembly including single case order picking to
accommodate small shipments.
Pallet Module Building - customized rainbow pallet assembly
of specific products to accommodate specific shipments.
Stretch Wrapping
Plastic stretch wrapping of palletized product for extra
protection.
Cross-Dock/Transloading
Full pallet movement for fast turnaround shipments.
Slipsheet loading/unloading
Product moved with mechanical forklift equipment.
Hand stack loading/unloading
Manpower available to palletize or floor load individual
cases.
Pallet exchange
Program of exchanging equal quality pallets is available.
Railcar Services
Rail sidings are at most USCS facilities for loading
and unloading of customer products.
Container
loading/unloading
cargo ship container unloading as well as sequence loading
of product.
Blast
freezing/room freezing
Freezing product in blast tunnels or in room freezers
based on customer needs.
Tempering
Thawing services to meet customer requirements.
Airfreight
Arrangements can be made for special dry ice packed
airfreight shipments of small packages. Larger shipments
which require LD3 containers or larger can be arranged
with USCS management.
Labeling/stamping
Product cases that need to be specially stamped or labeled
can be performed by USCS upon request.
